It Changed Everything

“It Changed Everythin” is part of a series called “Amplifying the Voices of Our Community” (AVOC) which aired in the West Kootenay during the summer of 2018. In this particular episode (produced and hosted by Tanya Coad) we learn about the long and winding road that led to the first same sex couple being married in the Nelson United Church. Also featured are a collection of colourful voices from Nelson’s 2017 Pride Parade. The AVOC project features more than 100 individuals representing 45 local nonprofit organizations, and was funded by the Community Radio Fund of Canada.
